Inspired by her love for creativity and connection, Melissa specializes in bridal hair and makeup, soft glam, boho and textured styles, as well as editorial and styled photoshoots.
Melissa loves the freedom the beauty industry offers to create unique looks and build meaningful relationships. Being part of the Cotton Rouge team means constant inspiration, growth, and friendships that feel like family.
Her kit essentials include Laura Mercier setting powder, Urban Decay’s neutral shadow palette, and plenty of shimmering shades. She swears by primer—especially Smashbox Photo Finish—to ensure longevity and flawless finishes.
Melissa’s signature styles are her effortlessly chic boho hairstyles and soft glam makeup looks. She’s known for her ability to connect with clients on a personal level—expect to leave feeling like you’ve made a new best friend!
Outside the studio, Melissa enjoys spending time with her two boys, working out, indoor rock climbing, biking, painting, and nurturing her faith. Her go-to wedding morning pick-me-up? A honey almond milk latte.
If she could do any celebrity’s hair and makeup, it would be Reese Witherspoon—thanks to their similar bone structure and the comfort that comes with it. Fun fact: Melissa can ride a unicycle!
