With 11 years in the beauty industry and five years with Cotton Rouge & Company, Jake brings serious artistry, technical precision, and more than a little dramatic flair to every face he touches. His philosophy is simple: when you look your best, you feel even better.
Jake's range as an artist is anything but ordinary. His work spans natural and full glam, bridal, stage, film and television, drag, character work, and celebrity illusion. He's also a regional artist for Dior, bringing another level of beauty-industry expertise to his work. Whether he's enhancing someone's natural features for a wedding or creating a complete transformation, Jake is drawn to the power makeup has to change not only what someone sees in the mirror, but how they carry themselves afterward.
Clean, precise eyes and beautifully enhanced natural features are signatures of Jake's work, but so is the experience in his chair. His personality, charisma, and admittedly overdramatic flair mean there's usually plenty of laughter involved. For Jake, being surrounded by creative people is one of the best parts of the industry, and he loves the leadership and support he's found within the CRC team.

Beauty Rule:
Eyes first. Jake prefers completing eye makeup before complexion work so he can create the cleanest, most flawless finish possible.

BLUSH. Lots of it. Paired with natural brows.

Equal parts timeless and theatrical. Jake can go from classic All-American color and jewel tones to sleek, sophisticated black, basically effortless beauty with a healthy dose of confident pizazz.

RuPaul, for the opportunity to push his artistry and transformation skills to the limit while undoubtedly having a hilarious time, and Beyoncé, because Jake would happily sit in the presence of greatness, soak up every bit of inspiration, and work on what he considers the world's easiest canvas.
Plot Twist:
Jake has been a working actor since he was two years old, which suddenly explains quite a bit about that dramatic flair.
Studio Sidekick:
Teddy, Jake's ridiculously sweet dog and occasional CRC studio visitor. Lucky clients may even get to meet him when he's hanging around the studio with Jake.
