Gina Tarbell is a hair and makeup artist with over 17 years of experience in the beauty industry and five years as part of the Cotton Rouge & Company team. Her passion for beauty began early—sparked by small but memorable moments like matching nail polish to outfits—and grew into a lifelong career rooted in artistry, confidence, and connection.
After earning her cosmetology license on Long Island, New York, Gina recognized a growing need for on-site bridal hair and makeup services while planning her own wedding. That realization led her to specialize in beauty that feels elevated yet effortless. Today, she is known for her natural glam airbrush makeup and hairstyles that move beautifully and last all day—perfect for brides who want to look like themselves, just a little more polished.
Since relocating to South Carolina in 2021, Gina has continued serving brides throughout the region while also operating her studio, MOOD Beauty, in Simpsonville. There, she offers natural nail services, custom facials, and full-body waxing—bringing the same thoughtful, detail-driven approach to every client she works with.
Gina loves being part of Cotton Rouge & Company for the strong sense of collaboration and shared dedication to helping brides feel confident, calm, and cared for. Clients often notice her chill, grounding presence, which helps set a relaxed tone on even the most fast-paced wedding mornings.
When she’s not glamming clients, Gina is usually outdoors—hiking, camping, paddleboarding, or skiing depending on the season—or enjoying good food and a great mystery novel. She lives by the mantra “less is more,” and brings that philosophy into every look she creates.
