Booking and communicating with them was so easy. We had a smaller group, so the hair and makeup artists were able to come to our local hotel the morning of my wedding. They texted with me the night before to check in and arrived right on time. They looked at inspo pictures for those of us who had them and asked our opinions on everything. Staci did our hair and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted. Amanda did our makeup and did the same. They worked efficiently, but took the time to make sure everything was perfect. With more than 15 years in the beauty industry and a member of Cotton Rouge & Company since 2013, Amanda Roeben has mastered the art of enhancing natural beauty through a glowing, clean aesthetic and skin-first approach. A professional makeup artist and licensed esthetician, Amanda specializes in soft, natural bridal glam, think radiant skin, delicate definition, and a finished look that feels unmistakably like you, only elevated.
Amanda's love for makeup started young, experimenting on friends during sleepovers and becoming fascinated by the way color and technique could change the shape and appearance of eyes and lips. As she got older, she began appreciating something even more powerful: the way makeup could change how someone felt.
That connection between beauty and confidence is still at the heart of Amanda's work today. She loves empowering women through makeup while firmly believing no one needs makeup to be beautiful or confident. To Amanda, makeup is art, creativity, connection, and sometimes simply the joy of adding a little sparkle.
As a licensed esthetician, Amanda's artistry also begins long before foundation. She loves helping clients understand their skin and how thoughtful preparation can completely change the way makeup looks and wears. The result is the kind of clean, glowing complexion and soft glam she's become known for.
After being part of CRC since 2013, Amanda also deeply values the community behind the artistry. Over the years, she's become someone who contributes wherever she's needed, whether that's sharing knowledge, offering advice, lending a hand, encouraging another artist, or simply being a listening ear.

Ask a self-proclaimed product junkie for favorites at your own risk because the answer is always subject to change. Current loves include One/Size primers and setting sprays, Juvia's Place liquid blushes, and Patrick Ta's matte eye palette for softly sculpting the eyes.
Skin First:
Skincare, always. Amanda believes great makeup starts with understanding and caring for the skin underneath it, and her esthetician side is never very far away.

Eyes first. It saves time, prevents unnecessary cleanup, and avoids wasting product.

Clean, glowy soft glam. Amanda lives for the bride who says, “I want to look like an elevated version of myself.”
Her Personal Style:

Off the Clock:
Amanda is a mom of three boys, an avid reader, a hiking-and-travel lover, and always up for trying a new restaurant or exploring a new city. She also jam skates on rollerblades and figure skates on ice, because apparently simply walking places wasn't interesting enough.
Plot Twist:
Before esthetics school, Amanda went to school for music. She sings, designs many of her own meaningful tattoos, and also happens to have what can reasonably be described as a small petting zoo.
Wedding Morning Fuel:
An iced dirty chai, sugar-free Red Bull, or Alani. Choose your fighter.

Keira Knightley. The bone structure. The lips. Enough said.
